Armin BISCHOFF, Olivier BLIGHT, research professors at Avignon University IUT, Avignon University, IMBE, organises the Landscape Management for Functional Biodiversity conference (LMFB) in partnership with’INRAE PSH unit on the Hannah Arendt campus at the University of Avignon.

Working group meetings LMFB within the’International Organisation for Biological and Integrated Control (IOBC) are held every 2 years.

They bring together around a hundred European participants, mainly non-French speakers, who are conducting research aimed at understanding and improving crop protection against insect pests, pathogens and weeds, based on the management of functional biodiversity in agricultural landscapes.

These meetings provide an opportunity to take stock of current research into biological control by conservation, to establish new collaborations and to understand the diversity of cropping systems and agricultural landscapes, particularly in the case of Western Paleartic Regions (WPRS).

This conference will take place on 11-13 March 2026 in Amphithéâtre 2E01 of the Campus centre - ville Hannah Arendt.
