Team " Engineering for the restoration of natural and cultural heritage "
This team is developing genuine ecological engineering for the restoration of natural (nursery species, etc.) and cultural heritage (analysis, identification and use of natural substances), enabling transfers to the professional world (patents) and significant advances in the field of ecology (regeneration and structuring of plant communities under recurrent constraints, long-term resilience, biodiversity-stability links, etc.) and chemistry (new biomarkers, markers of natural or anthropogenic degradation, etc.).

Team "Biomarkers, Environment, Health
The objectives of the BES team are to understand the molecular, cellular, metabolic and physiological mechanisms developed by organisms and/or humans to cope with environmental constraints and to establish links between environmental stresses and organism plasticity. They are based on the following points:

  • understand and characterise impacts taking into account biotic and abiotic factors,
  • describe and explain the effects observed by complementary approaches ranging from molecular and cellular biology to physiological and behavioural analysis
  • carry out analyses in the laboratory, in limited animal experiments (e.g. mesocosms) and in real field conditions.
