DU Brewing Process Technician

 In the current context of development of craft breweries, the university diploma of brewery process technician allows
to train as a brewer in three areas of training:

  •  To acquire or improve scientific and technical knowledge of beer making.
  • Controlling the quality of beer
  • Acquire the economic and regulatory notions to be mastered for its professional activity.

3 weeks for 105 hours of training.
65 hours of theory and 40 hours of practical work.
1 session per year in January.
Brewing on the 60 L pilot unit of the IUT and at a partner professional brewer.
Day of visits and exchanges in local breweries.
Practical work in chemistry, microbiology and zythology.
Trainers: university teachers and professionals with expertise in the sector.
