DU Brewing Process Technician (DU TPB)
In the current context of development of craft breweries, the university diploma of brewing process technician allows
to train as a brewer in 3 areas of training:
- Acquire or improve scientific and technical knowledge of beer production.
- Controlling the quality of beer
- Acquire the economic and regulatory notions to be mastered for its professional activity.
3 weeks for 105 hours of training.
65 hours of theory and 40 hours of practical work.
1 session per year in January.
Brewing on the 60 L pilot unit of the IUT and at a partner professional brewer.
Day of visits and exchanges in local breweries.
Practical work in chemistry, microbiology and zythology.
Trainers: university teachers and professionals with expertise in the sector.
