Photo exhibition: «Portraits in the saddle» at the Avignon University IUT

The exhibition at the Maison du Vélo of Greater Avignon in 2025, continues at Avignon University IUT.

Avignon IUT invites you to discover the «Portraits in the Saddle», from 2 to 27 February 2026, in the reception hall of the IUT d'Avignon Université.

Through a series of authentic portraits, this exhibition, aimed at sports enthusiasts and walkers, highlights the richness, creativity and diversity of cycling in our region.

In the Greater Avignon, Bikes come in a thousand forms: cargo, folding, tandem, VAE, mountain bike... and behind each handlebar, a story, a daily life, a way of living in the area. More than just a means of transport, the bike is often a travelling companion, chosen in its own image: practical, sporty, original or poetic.

“Portraits in the saddle” invites you to follow in the footsteps of these faces of cycling and imagine the cyclist you could be tomorrow:

👉 hire a Vélopop’,
👉 ride your mountain bike along the vineyard paths,
👉 or get to your favourite restaurant ... by bike.

On a bike, the possibilities are endless and reveal what makes you unique.
So we invite you to come and see for yourself, get inspired... and maybe get involved.
